Required Materials to make a Magma Cream
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to craft a magma cream:
How to craft a Magma Cream in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make a Magma Cream
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a magma cream, place 1 slimeball and 1 blaze powder in the 3x3 crafting grid.
When making a magma cream, it is important that the slimeball and blaze powder are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 blaze powder in the first box and 1 slimeball in the second box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for magma cream.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the magma cream will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move the Magma Cream to Inventory
Once you have crafted magma cream, you need to move the new item to your inventory.
Now you have made magma cream in Minecraft!
How to gather a Magma Cream in Survival Mode
You can also add a magma cream to your inventory in Survival mode by killing a magma cube. So let's get started!
1. Find a Magma Cube
There are 3 different sizes of magma cubes that naturally spawn in the game - large, medium and small. You will need to find large or medium sized magma cubes because these are the only sizes that may drop a magma cream (the small magma cubes do not drop anything).
Magma cubes can usually be found in the Basalt Deltas biome in the Nether.
2. Attack and Kill the Magma Cube
Once you find either a large or medium sized magma cube, you need to attack it. The magma cube will turn pink as it takes damage.
When you kill the large magma cube, it will drop medium magma cubes (and possibly a magma cream). When the medium magma cubes appear, they will immediately begin to attack and you will be outnumbered.
As you kill each of the medium magma cubes, they will drop small magma cubes (and possibly a magma cream). The smaller magma cubes are much easier to kill than the large magma cubes and they do much less damage to you.
Once you kill all of the magma cubes, you can look around to see if a magma cream was dropped. There isn't a 100% chance that the medium and large magma cubes will drop a magma cream when they die. So you may have to try again.
3. Pick up the Magma Cream
If there was a magma cream dropped, make sure you pick it up before it disappears.
A magma cream is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later in brewing recipes.
