Required Materials to Breed Striders
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to breed striders:
Steps to Breed Striders
1. Find Two Striders
First, you will need to find two striders to breed. You can find striders in the lava seas in the Nether dimension.
This is what a strider looks like:
If you are having trouble finding striders, you can summon a strider using a cheat or you can use a spawn egg.
2. Use the Warped Fungus
Next, with the warped fungus selected in your hot bar, you will need to feed the warped fungus to each of the striders, one at a time.
The game control to use/feed the warped fungus to the striders depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), right click on the striders one at a time.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap on the striders one at a time.
- For Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.
- For PS4, press the L2 button on the PS controller.
- For Nintendo Switch, press the ZL button on the controller.
- For Windows 10 Edition, right click on the striders one at a time.
- For Education Edition, right click on the striders one at a time.
As you feed the warped fungus to the striders, you will see red hearts appear over their heads. Each of these striders is entering love mode.
Once you have fed both striders, they will turn to each other and red hearts will continue to appear over their heads.
After a moment, the red hearts will disappear and a cute baby strider will be standing there.
Now you will have two adult striders and one baby strider.
