How to make a Deny Block in Minecraft
This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft a Deny block with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, a Deny block is a special block that is often called the Disallow Build block. The purpose of a Deny block is to give a way to control where players can build. When a Deny block is placed, players will not be allowed to dig and place blocks anywhere above a Deny block (overriding the Students Can Build setting for a world in Education Edition).
TIP: If an
Allow block is placed above a Deny block, players can build above that Allow block. (
A Deny block ONLY imposes restrictions on players that do not have operator status.)
