1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make a Nether Reactor Core
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a nether reactor core, place 3 diamonds and 6 iron ingot in the 3x3 crafting grid.
When making a nether reactor core, it is important that the diamonds and iron ingot are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In all 3 rows, there should be 1 iron ingot in the first box, 1 diamond in the second box, and 1 iron ingot in the third box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a nether reactor core.
