1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:

There should be 3 netherite ingot in the first row, 3 netherite ingot in the second row, and 3 netherite ingot in the third row. This should fill all of the boxes in the crafting grid.
