1. Open the Crafting Menu

First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a red nether brick, place 2 nether warts and 2 nether bricks in the 3x3 crafting grid.

When making red nether brick, it is important that the items are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 nether brick in the first box and 1 nether wart in the second box.
