1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make a Heart Decorated Pot
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a Heart Decorated Pot, place 4 Heart Pottery Sherds in the 3x3 crafting grid.
When making a Heart Decorated Pot, it is important that the Heart Pottery Sherds are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 Heart Pottery Sherd in the second box. In the second row, there should be 1 Heart Pottery Sherd in the first box and 1 Heart Pottery Sherd in the third box. In the third row, there should be 1 Heart Pottery Sherd in the second box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a Heart Decorated Pot.
NOTE: There are 4 sides on a Decorated Pot. You can replace any of the Heart Pottery Sherds with either a brick or another type of Pottery Sherd to create your own unique design.
