How to get a Milk Bucket in Survival Mode
You can add a milk bucket to your inventory in Survival mode by milking a cow or mooshroom. So let's get started!
1. Find a Cow or Mooshroom
First, find a cow or a mooshroom in your Minecraft world.
Cows can be found in many different Overworld biomes, however, mooshrooms can only be found in the Mushroom Island biome.
2. Hold the Bucket
Next, select your bucket in the hotbar so that you are holding it in your hand.
3. Fill the Bucket with Milk
Hold the bucket out to the cow to fill up the bucket with milk. The game control to collect the milk in the bucket depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), right click on the cow.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap on the cow.
- For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.
- For PS3 and PS4, press the L2 button on the PS controller.
- For Wii U, press the ZL button on the gamepad.
- For Nintendo Switch, press the ZL button on the controller.
- For Windows 10 Edition, right click on the cow.
- For Education Edition, right click on the cow.
You will see the message "Milk Bucket" appear on the screen and your bucket will turn white because it is now filled with milk.
Congratulations, you have made a milk bucket in Minecraft!
