Minecraft Summon Donkey with Chest Generator (Java Edition)

This Summon Donkey Generator creates the Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac) command you can use to summon a custom donkey that is fully equipped with a saddle and a chest filled with up to 15 items (including enchanted items).

This generator creates commands for Minecraft Java Edition versions: 1.20.2, 1.20, 1.19, 1.18, 1.17, 1.16.2, 1.15, 1.14, 1.13, 1.12, 1.11.2. You can change to another version above.

Instructions: Select the options to apply to the mob. The options are as follows:

Invulnerable - Prevent the Donkey from being killed in Survival mode
Persistent - Prevent the Donkey from naturally despawning
Silent - Prevent the Donkey from making any noise
NoAI - Prevent the Donkey from normal AI movements
Can pick up loot - Allow the Donkey to pick up loot
Tame - Spawn the Donkey as tame

Add Item Enchantments (optional)

Instructions: Select the item and quantity that will appear in the donkey's chest. To help you find an item faster, we have added a Search feature to the item dropdown that filters the list of items to choose from. If you wish to clear your selection, click the Clear button next to the search field.

There are 15 slots available in the donkey's chest. To add another item to the donkey's chest, click the New Item button. To remove an item, click on the Remove Item button.

If enchantments are available for the item selected, they will appear below the item. Select the enchantments that you would like to add to the item by clicking the appropriate checkboxes. As some enchantments are not compatible with others, selecting an enchantment will make all incompatible enchantments unselectable.

Select a Position where the Donkey will Spawn

Positioning:

Instructions: Select the positioning type and enter the position where you would like the donkey to spawn.
Relative positioning will spawn the donkey at a position in relation to where the command is run.
Absolute positioning will spawn the donkey at a specific coordinate in the world.

The coordinate system works as follows:

X - A positive value increases position to the East. A negative value increases position to the West.
Y - A positive value increases position upward. A negative value increases position downward.
Z - A positive value increases position to the South. A negative value increases position to the North.

TIP: Use X=0, Y=1, Z=0 with Relative Positioning when you want to spawn the donkey above a command block.

Add Motion to the Donkey (optional)

Instructions: Enter the motion coordinates where you would like the donkey to move once it has spawned. (Motion determines the direction the donkey will move when spawned.)

The coordinate system works as follows:

X - A positive value increases motion to the East. A negative value increases motion to the West.
Y - A positive value increases motion upward. A negative value increases motion downward.
Z - A positive value increases motion to the South. A negative value increases motion to the North.

Add Rotation to the Donkey (optional)

Instructions: Enter the y-rotation and x-rotation of the donkey after spawning. Rotation is used to summon a donkey facing a specific direction as defined by yRot and xRot.

yRot - The y-rotation that the donkey is facing in degrees. 0=South, 90=West, 180=North, 270=East.
xRot - The x-rotation that the donkey is facing in degrees. Positive values look downward and negative values look upward. 0=facing forward, 90=facing straight down, -90=facing straight up

Instructions: Add effects (ie: potion effects) to your mob by clicking the appropriate checkboxes. Once you select an effect, you will be able to set the duration and choose whether particles are shown.

Duration - The length of time that the status effect will last (in game ticks)
Show Particles - Whether particles are shown for the status effect

Note: You can add more than one effect to a mob, but you can not add the same effect more than once. For example if you add the effect called Strength, you can not also add Strength II as a second effect. Both are the Strength effect with different amplifier values.
