Beacon Structure (all 6 status effects) in Minecraft
This Minecraft tutorial explains how to build a beacon structure that gives all 6 status effects with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, you can give players all 6 status effects (Speed, Haste, Resistance, Jump Boost, Strength and Regeneration) for 16 seconds using 3 beacons in a 4-tier pyramid structure. Let's explore how to do this.
Required Materials
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to make a 4 layer pyramid beacon structure that gives all 6 status effects:
Steps to make a Beacon Structure (all 6 status effects)
1. Place 99 Blocks as the First Layer of the Pyramid
First, place 99 blocks of iron, gold, diamond or emerald in a 9x11 structure to create the first layer of the pyramid. In this tutorial, we will use 99 iron blocks.
2. Place 63 Blocks as the Second Layer of the Pyramid
Now, place 63 blocks of iron, gold, diamond or emerald in a 7x9 structure to create the second layer of the pyramid. In this tutorial, we will use 63 iron blocks.
3. Place 35 Blocks as the Third Layer of the Pyramid
Next, place 35 blocks of iron, gold, diamond or emerald in a 5x7 structure to create the third layer of the pyramid. In this tutorial, we will use 35 iron blocks.
4. Place 15 Blocks as the Fourth Layer of the Pyramid
Next, place 15 blocks of iron, gold, diamond or emerald in a 3x5 structure to create the fourth layer of the pyramid. In this tutorial, we will use 15 iron blocks.
5. Place 3 Beacons in the Center
Next, place 3 beacons in the center of this structure.
You should see a vertical beam of light appear from each beacon that goes up into the sky (creates a light source that is light level 15).
6. Open the Beacon Menu for the first Beacon
Next, open the Beacon menu for the first beacon. You should see 5 options (Speed, Haste, Resistance, Jump Boost, or Strength) as the primary power and Regeneration as the option under secondary power.
7. Configure the first Beacon
Add 1 emerald, diamond, gold ingot or iron ingot into the empty box. In this tutorial, we've added 1 iron ingot.
Then choose Strength as the primary power.
Next, select Regeneration as the secondary power.
We've now configured the first beacon to give the Strength and Regeneration status effects. Click on the green checkmark button.
8. Open the Beacon Menu for the second Beacon
Next, open the Beacon menu for the second beacon.
9. Configure the second Beacon
Add 1 emerald, diamond, gold ingot or iron ingot into the empty box. In this tutorial, we've added 1 iron ingot.
Then choose Jump Boost as the primary power.
Now, click on Jump Boost II under the secondary power. This is an important step that you MUST do to change the secondary power from Regeneration to Jump Boost II.
And then select Resistance as the primary power.
We've now configured the second beacon to give the Jump Boost and Resistance status effects. Click on the green checkmark button.
10. Open the Beacon Menu for the third Beacon
Next, open the Beacon menu for the third beacon.
11. Configure the third Beacon
Add 1 emerald, diamond, gold ingot or iron ingot into the empty box. In this tutorial, we've added 1 iron ingot.
Then choose Speed as the primary power.
Now, click on Speed II under the secondary power. This is an important step that you MUST do to change the secondary power from Regeneration to Speed II.
And then select Haste as the primary power.
We've now configured the third beacon to give the Speed and Haste status effects. Click on the green checkmark button.
12. Beacon will give all 6 Status Effects
Now all nearby players will be given Jump Boost, Speed, Strength, Resistance, Regeneration, and Haste. These status effects will start at 16 seconds, tick down and then reset back to 16 seconds again. So players that stay within the range of the beacon will receive the status effects continuously.
Congratulations, you just learned how to use a beacon to build a pyramid structure that gives nearby players all 6 status effects (Jump Boost, Speed, Strength, Resistance, Regeneration, and Haste) for 16 seconds in Minecraft!
