How to Teleport
To teleport using an ender pearl, you must be in Survival mode. You can not use an ender pearl to teleport in Creative mode. If you are not in Survival mode, you can switch to Survival mode using a cheat.
Next, select the ender pearl in your hotbar.
Position your pointer (the plus sign) in the direction that you wish to teleport. Make sure that you pointer is tilted upwards so that you can throw the ender pearl far.
Next, you want to throw the ender pearl. The game control to throw the ender pearl depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), right click to use the ender pearl.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), tap where you would like to throw the ender pearl.
- For PS3 and PS4, press the L2 button on the PS controller.
- For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.
- For Windows 10 Edition, right click to use the ender pearl.
- For Wii U, press the ZL button on the gamepad.
- For Nintendo Switch, press the ZL button on the controller.
- For Education Edition, right click to use the ender pearl.
Now, you will see the ender pearl fly through the air.
When the ender pearl lands on the ground, you will teleport to that location. You will see the purple teleport effects appear that you would normally see when an Enderman teleports.
