How to get Birch Leaves in Survival Mode

In Minecraft, you can add birch leaves to your inventory in Survival mode by trimming the leaves from a birch tree with a pair of shears. So, let's get started!

1. Find a Birch Tree

First, you need to find a birch tree in your Minecraft world. Birch trees are usually found in the Forest biome.

2. Hold your Shears

Next, place your shears in your hand by selecting them in the hotbar.

Position your pointer (the plus sign) on the birch leaves of the tree. You should see the block of birch leaves become highlighted in your game window.

3. Use the Shears

Next, use the shears on the birch leaves to cut them from the birch tree.

The game control to use the shears on the birch leaves depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the birch leaves.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the birch leaves.
