How to get a Phantom Membrane in Survival Mode
You can add a phantom membrane to your inventory in Survival mode by killing a phantom. So let's get started!
1. Find a Phantom
You first need to find a phantom. Phantoms spawn at night when you haven't slept for a few nights. They make a distinct sound and they will fly above your head. (Note: Once it turns to daytime, the phantoms will burst into flames, similar to a zombie.)
2. Attack and Kill the Phantom
Once you find a phantom, you need to attack it. The best time to attack the phantom is when it dives at you. The phantom will turn pink as it takes damage.
Continue to attack the phantom each time it dives at you. Once you have killed the phantom, it may drop a phantom membrane. There isn't a 100% chance that the phantom will drop a phantom membrane when it dies. If it doesn't drop one, find another phantom and try again.
3. Pick up the Phantom Membrane
Make sure you pick up the phantom membrane before it disappears.
A phantom membrane is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
