How to make a Rabbit's Foot in Minecraft
This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft a rabbit's foot with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, a rabbit's foot is an item that you can not make with a crafting table or furnace. Instead, you need to find and gather this item in the game.
Let's explore how to add a rabbit's foot to your inventory.

How to get a Rabbit's Foot in Survival Mode
You can add a rabbit's foot to your inventory in Survival mode by killing a rabbit. So let's get started!
1. Find a Rabbit
You first need to find a rabbit.
Rabbits can be found in the Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Old Growth Pine Taiga, Snowy Plains, Grove, Snowy Slopes, Meadow and Desert biomes
(the color of the rabbit varies depending on the biome).
Taiga
Snowy Taiga
Old Growth Pine Taiga
Snowy Plains
Grove
Snowy Slopes
Meadow
Desert
2. Attack and Kill the Rabbit
Once you find a rabbit, you need to attack it. When you attack the rabbit, it will turn pink as it takes damage.
Continue to chase and attack the rabbit.
TIP: When a rabbit is trying to escape your attack, it can hop right over your fences!
Once you have killed the rabbit, it may drop different items each time such as raw rabbit, rabbit's foot, or rabbit hide. There isn't a 100% chance that the rabbit will drop a rabbit's foot when it dies. If it doesn't drop one, find another rabbit and try again.
In this example, when the rabbit died it dropped a rabbit's foot.
TIP: A rabbit's foot is a very rare drop. You can increase your chances of getting a rabbit's foot by
enchanting your sword with
Looting III. Then kill the rabbit with the enchanted sword.
3. Pick up the Rabbit's Foot
Make sure you pick up any dropped items before they disappear.
These are useful items and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
