How to get a Stripped Birch Log in Survival Mode

You can add a stripped birch log to your inventory in Survival mode by stripping the bark from a birch log with an axe. So, let's get started!

1. Find a Birch Tree

First, you need to find a birch tree in your Minecraft world. Birch trees are usually found in the Forest biome.

2. Hold an Axe

Next, you will need to select an axe in your hotbar. These are the axes you can choose from:

3. Strip the Bark with the Axe

Now, you need to strip the bark from a birch log with your axe. The game control to strip the bark with an axe depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), right click on the birch log.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap on the birch log.
For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.
For PS3 and PS4, press the L2 button on the PS controller.
For Wii U, press the ZL button on the gamepad.
For Nintendo Switch, press the ZL button on the controller.
For Windows 10 Edition, right click on the birch log.
For Education Edition, right click on the birch log.

4. Chop down the Stripped Birch Log

The game control to chop down the stripped birch log depends on the version of Minecraft:

For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the stripped birch log.
