In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make a cherry pressure plate, place 2 cherry planks in the 3x3 crafting grid.
When making a cherry pressure plate, it is important that the cherry planks are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the second row, there should be 1 cherry planks in the first box and 1 cherry planks in the second box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a cherry pressure plate.
