How to craft an Acacia Boat in Survival Mode

1. Open the Crafting Menu

First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3x3 crafting grid that looks like this:

2. Add Items to make an Acacia Boat

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3x3 crafting grid. To make an acacia boat, place 5 acacia planks in the 3x3 crafting grid.

When making an acacia boat, it is important that the acacia planks are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. There should be 2 acacia planks placed in the first row at either sides (the middle box should be left empty) and 3 acacia planks placed in the second row. If you are making an acacia boat for Minecraft PE, Windows 10, Xbox, PS, Wii U, Nintendo Switch and Education Edition, you need to add one additional item which is a wooden shovel that goes in the middle box in the first row.
