Where to Find a Jungle Temple

In Minecraft, a Jungle Temple is a structure that spawns naturally in the game. It looks like a stone temple and is found in the Jungle and Bamboo Jungle biomes.

The Jungle Temple is mostly made out of mossy cobblestone and cobblestone.

To go inside, find the doorway at the front of the Jungle Temple.

Once inside the Jungle Temple, you will find 3 floors - main floor, top floor and basement.

Main Floor

The main floor will have two sets of stairs that take you up to the top floor and one set of stairs in the center that leads to the basement.

Top Floor

If you take the stairs to the top floor, you will find some windows to look out but this floor is pretty harmless.

Basement

The real fun begins when you explore the basement of the Jungle Temple. On this lower floor, you will find a puzzle and a trap.

Puzzle in the Basement

Head down the stairs to the basement and turn left to find a puzzle.

This puzzle is made up of three levers on the wall. Flip the levers in the right order and a small room with a chest will be revealed. If you can't figure out the lever order, use a pickaxe to mine behind the second lever and you will find a chest.

Here is a sneak peek at the room (directly behind the three levers are two sticky pistons, a redstone repeater and a chest).

Inside this chest, there is a good chance it contains Wild Armor Trim, which you can use to visually customize your armor using a Smithing Table.

Trap in the Basement

If you turn to the right at the bottom of the basement stairs, you will find a long hallway. Be care of the tripwire hooks! This is a trap!!

If you walk across the tripwire, it will activate a dispenser that fires arrows at you. If you make it past the first dispenser, there is a second dispenser behind the chest that will also shoot arrows at you.

Try to get to the chest to see what's inside!
