How to get a Shroomlight in Survival Mode
You can add a shroomlight to your inventory in Survival mode by finding a shroomlight and gathering it. So, let's get started!
1. Find a Shroomlight
First, you need to find a shroomlight in your Minecraft world. A shroomlight is found in the Nether in either the Warped Forest or the Crimson Forest.

2. Break the Shroomlight
The game control to break the shroomlight depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the shroomlight.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the shroomlight.
- For Xbox One, press and hold the RT button on the Xbox controller.
- For PS4, press and hold the R2 button on the PS controller.
- For Nintendo Switch, press and hold the ZR button on the controller.

- For Education Edition, left click and hold on the shroomlight.
The shroomlight will break and a smaller shroomlight will float on the ground.
3. Pick up the Shroomlight
Make sure you pick up the shroomlight before it disappears.
Once you pick up the shroomlight, it will appear in your hotbar.
A shroomlight is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
