/alwaysday true
Type the command in the chat window. As you are typing, you will see the command appear in the lower left corner of the game window. Press the Enter key to run the command.
Once the cheat has been entered, time will freeze.
You will see the message "Day-Night cycle locked" appear in the top left corner of the game window to indicate that the command has successfully completed. Time will now be stopped and no longer advance. Because you are stopped at a particular moment in time, you will need to use the /time command to change the time to day, night, dawn, etc.
TIP: The /alwaysday command is a shortcut for the /gamerule command.
For example:
/alwaysday true
is equivalent to /gamerule dodaylightcycle false
command.
/alwaysday false
is equivalent to /gamerule dodaylightcycle true
command.
Congratulations, you have learned how to use the /alwaysday command in Minecraft.
