1. Find an Allay
First, you will need to find an allay. Allays spawn naturally in groups of between 1 to 3 and are usually found trapped in small jail cells or wooden cages.

Within the Woodland Mansion, you can find allays trapped within jail cells made of cobblestone.
Wooden Cages in Pillager Outpost
Outside the Pillager Outpost, allays can be found in wooden cages (similar to iron golems).
2. Place a Jukebox
Next, you will need to place a jukebox near the allay. The game control to place the jukebox depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), right click on the the block.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap on the the block.
- For Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.
- For PS4, press the L2 button on the PS controller.
- For Nintendo Switch, press the ZL button on the controller.

3. Play Music
Next, you will need to play music for the allay by placing a music disc in the jukebox. You can choose from one of the following music discs:

- For Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.

You should see red hearts will appear above the allay and the allay will duplicate itself.
Now, a second allay will appear and there will be two allays flying around.
