How to make a Scute in Minecraft
This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft a scute with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, a scute is an item that you can not make with a crafting table or furnace. Instead, you need to find and gather this item in the game. A scute is a piece of the turtle's shell that is left behind when the turtle grows up.
Let's explore how to add a scute to your inventory.

Required Materials to make Scute
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to gather scutes:
How to get a Scute in Survival Mode
You can add a scute to your inventory in Survival mode by waiting for a baby turtle to grow into an adult and then gathering the scute.
1. Find a Baby Turtle
First, you need a baby turtle in your Minecraft world. The most common way to get a baby turtle is to breed turtles at their home beach.
Turtles can usually be found in the Beach biome.
2. Feed the Baby Turtle some Seagrass
If you want to speed up how fast the baby turtle grows into an adult, you can feed it seagrass.
As you feed the baby turtle seagrass, you will see green particles around it. This means that it is growing older. Continue to feed the baby turtle until it becomes an adult.
3. Pick up the Scute
Once the baby turtle has eaten enough (or enough time has elapsed), the baby turtle will grow to the size of an adult and drop a scute.
Make sure you pick up the scute before it disappears.
A scute is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
